Fullstack Team Leader

Job Summary

Safebooks is seeking a Fullstack Team Lead to design, build, and lead innovative web applications and be a key player in our leadership. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive technical excellence, foster mentorship, and enhance collaboration across engineering, product, and design teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of Safebooks' web applications, setting standards for code quality and performance
• Design and build sophisticated, responsive user interfaces that align with design specifications and UX/UI best practices
• Drive collaboration efforts with other teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance
• Manage and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance and support in development best practices

Requirements

• Minimum Of 2 years as a Team lead role and 5 years of experience in web development
• Expertise (Minimum of 3 years hands-on) in React, TS and Node
• Proven experience in leading development projects and mentoring junior developers
• Deep knowledge of software architecture, both on the frontend and backend
• Strong understanding of project management and software development practices
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience with managing remote team members - an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or a related field) - an advantage
