Marketing Operations Manager

The Role

We are currently recruiting a marketing operations manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage the progress of projects from initiation through delivery, coordinating resources, schedules, and overseeing project deliverables, ensuring our cross-functional remote team is on schedule. Fully remote, flexible hours (~60 hours per month).

Responsibilities

• Process Management- Identify, design, and document scalable processes and technologies that enable the marketing team to be more effective in their daily work and drive alignment within the department.
• Plan marketing content- Plan and create clear and well-thought out specs for various content pieces (articles, video, etc.), which will be executed by the different marketing team members
• Manage marketing projects- Manage graphic designers, content writers, video editors and web developers to create engaging content on a variety of channels. Maintain work process flows by coordinating information and requirements, as well as reviewing and managing revision of all deliverables to ensure all targets and requirements are met and completed on schedule and within budget.
• Manage social- Create a content calendar for the company’s blog and social media accounts and actively manage all social media pages.
• Manage the marketing budget- Understand and monitor the cost of marketing activities, optimizing budget and negotiating with external vendors
• ·Manage strategic relationship with partners- Actively build and manage the ongoing relationship with ecosystem partners. Includes monthly reach out, communication and coordinating joint campaigns and events.
• ·Build expert community- Identify relevant ecosystem experts in a variety of fields and complete initial reach out, with the goal of creating joint engaging content.
•  Campaign Management- Serve as the marketing project manager for integrated campaigns from inception through execution and measurement.
• Data and content management- Manage the company’s Hubspot and WordPress accounts, uploading content and segmenting users and making sure the right profile users get the most relevant and compelling content 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree a must
• 2+ years in project management or a marketing operations role in a tech company
• Experience with Hubspot a plus
• Knowledge and familiarity of the startup tech ecosystem and the different stakeholders
• Passion for creating and consuming business content
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at the same time in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and get things done with minimum guidance
• Excellent written verbal and communication skills in English (Native Speaker)
