BI Analyst/Economy Manager

We are seeking a talented and motivated BI Analyst/Economy Manager with 1-3 years of experience in the online industry, preferably within the gaming sector. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL, and a background in a quantitative field such as economics, statistics, or mathematics. This role will involve analysing game economy data, providing insights, and helping to drive business decisions that enhance player experience and optimize game performance.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Analyse game economy data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.

·        Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and game metrics.

·        Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from various databases.

·        Collaborate with game designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver relevant analyses.

·        Identify trends and patterns in player behaviour and game performance to inform strategic decisions.

·        Conduct A/B testing to evaluate the impact of changes to the game economy and features.

·        Planning economy short-term strategy of the game

·        Monitor the in-game economy and balance virtual goods, currencies, and other elements to ensure a fair and engaging experience for players.

·        Configure game-economy parameters, entities and modifiers.

·        Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications:

·        1-3 years of experience in a BI analyst or similar role in the online industry, ideally within the gaming sector – Must.

·        Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis - Must (experience in using Google BigQuery – Advantage).

·        Fluent verbal and written English skills – Must.

·        Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field – Advantage

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Experience with data visualization tools (Google Looker-Studio is a plus).

·        Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

·        Familiarity with A/B testing and experimental design.
