Solutions Architect

As a Solution Architect you will work closely with clients, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, define architecture patterns, and create scalable, flexible, and resilient solutions that meet both current and future needs. You will leverage your technical expertise, industry knowledge, and problem-solving skills to architect solutions that drive business growth and success.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and requirements, and translate them into technical solutions and architecture designs.

- Define and document solution architecture, including system components, interfaces, data flows, and integration points, and ensure alignment with client needs, industry best practices, and architectural principles.

- Lead the evaluation and selection of technology platforms, frameworks, and tools to support solution development, and provide guidance on technical trade-offs, risks, and benefits.

- Design and prototype proof-of-concept solutions to validate architecture decisions and demonstrate feasibility and value to stakeholders.

- Work closely with engineering teams to oversee solution implementation, provide technical guidance and support, and ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.

- Conduct architecture reviews and audits to identify opportunities for optimization, scalability, and performance improvement, and recommend solutions to address architectural challenges and gaps.

- Collaborate with product managers and business development teams to develop proposals, sales presentations, and technical documentation, and support pre-sales and post-sales activities as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a strong background in designing and architecting end-to-end solutions for complex business problems.

- Deep understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices, and hands-on experience with architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).

- Proficiency in a wide range of technologies and platforms, including cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), microservices architecture, APIs, databases, and integration technologies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems, evaluate alternatives, and recommend innovative solutions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience working in agile development environments and familiarity with agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment, with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and adaptability.
