Software Engineering Team Lead

BOA Ideas was established 16 years ago, focusing on various web projects. We are the e-commerce experts for Shopify, application development, and building third-party integrations that interface with many different systems and applications. Our specialization, areas of interest, and overall knowledge base continue to grow and develop alongside our recruitment efforts.

We are looking for a new team member for our E-commerce Specialist team.

The Webmaster accompanies customers in setting up a trade site or improving an existing site on the Shopify platform.

The role combines mainly a technical aspect and also direct communication with the company's customers.

You'll be working in a team that is rapidly expanding. For you, this means there is the opportunity to make the role your own and grow!

What you will be doing:

Team Leadership:

• Lead a wonderful team of 11 tech professionals, providing support, guidance, growth opportunities, and promoting a positive team culture
• Maintain a strong relationship with a large global client business account, oversee both the business and operational aspects of the relationship
• co-tech leading - provide technical direction and mentorship, promoting innovation and best practices.
• Identify and address risks proactively, including technical challenges, resource constraints, and scope changes, to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful delivery.

Technical Expertise:

• Active participation in technical tasks, engaging directly in the development of e-commerce websites tailored to meet client specifications and requirements.

requirements:

• 1 years experience in a leadership role, managing teams
• A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving client satisfaction and business objectives.
• 4 years experience as a full-stack developer, writing code across the stack. (Node.js, bootstrap, Javascript, frontend framework - preferably Vue, backend MVC, PHP)
• Working experience with version control using Git and GitHub
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good proficiency level in English

Nice to have:

• Experience with e-commerce development - preferably Shopify
• Experience with Zendesk app development.
• Experience with bundling tools like Webpack
