We are looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic engineer to join us.

As the application team lead you will lead a team of expert Engineers and collaborating with Sales and Marketing.

You will partner with a wide range of Communication, Semiconductor, and Aero-Defense companies developing Radar, Analog/Mixed-Signal, Audio systems, and more.

 You will help customers uncover and solve their critical technical and business challenges and paint a vision of how MATLAB & Simulink technology can accelerate the pace of their innovation.

 You will establish yourself as a trusted advisor to strategic customers by providing guidance on best practices, and direction on workflow improvements.

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of Application Engineers in Communication, Electronics and Semiconductors domains.
• Collaborate with sales representatives, and marketing in creating and executing an overall account development plan.
• Engage with prospective customers (from engineers to executives) to understand their workflows and recommend effective solutions.
• Prepare and deliver demonstrations that highlight how MATLAB & Simulink technology address customer R&D workflow
• Advocate for the future direction of MathWorks products based on customer interactions.

Minimum Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and ~ 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience) is required.
• PhD degree - An advantage.
• Leading experience - An advantage.
• Aerospace, radar, communication system, or related industry experience
• Great verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with MathWorks products (MATLAB, Simulink, or Stateflow) or other simulation software

Additional Qualifications

Experience in any of the following is a plus:

• R&D methodologies (e.g. Model-Based Design, Agile)
• Customer-facing experience
• Antenna design, RF front-end or back-end development
• Signal Processing and data analysis
• Model-Based Engineering
• Experience with ICs e.g., ASIC, RFSoC, FPGA, MMIC
• Languages e.g., HDL, C/C++, Assembler
• Aerospace industry and certification processes
