About the project

The properties of artificial materials can be designed to exhibit extraordinary properties by cleverly engineering their composition. Our group was granted the European Commission for Research (ERC) consolidators (CoG) grant in order to develop metamaterials that manipulate elastic waves, with potential applications such as vibration isolation, energy harvesting, cloaking and more. The ERC CoG grant is intended to support pioneering ideas of researchers who have shown the ability to conduct creative, ground-breaking research.

We seek motivated and talented PhD students (postdoc positions are also available) to work on the theoretical, numerical and experimental tasks of the project.
