We are seeking a skilled Data Specialist to join our dynamic team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our data by applying proper metadata, handling data bugs, validating services from infrastructure, and updating Jira tickets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in big data handling, proficient in Python, and possess the ability to work independently.

Additionally, the role involves route building, finding locations for Jira requests, validating recorded data, automating processes, conducting data statistics, and analysis

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply appropriate metadata to datasets to enhance organization and accessibility.
• Identify and address data bugs to maintain data integrity and reliability.
• Validate services from infrastructure to ensure seamless data flow.
• Update Jira tickets to track and communicate progress on data-related tasks.
• Handle large volumes of data efficiently using big data technologies.
• Build routes and find suitable locations for Jira requests to optimize workflow.
• Validate recorded data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance productivity.
• Conduct data statistics and analysis to derive meaningful insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality processes and workflows.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in data management, quality assurance, or related roles.
• Proficiency in Python programming language for data manipulation and automation.
• Strong understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar. - nice to have
• Experience with metadata management and data tagging techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
• Experience with Jira or similar project management tools is a plus. - nice to have
• Prior experience in data analysis and statistical techniques is preferred.
