Company Description

O’Taste, by Omega Galilee, is a ground-breaking platform for natural taste enhancement based in Misgav. O’Taste’s proprietary technology increases the intensity of tastes and is used by food manufacturers to enhance natural sugar sweetness. The company's flagship product, O’Sweet Chocolate & Hazelnut Spread, contains 80% less sugar than popular spreads without affecting its taste. The company is currently developing also O'Salt and O'Spice, which also contain no chemicals, no artificial sweeteners, and no aftertaste.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Food Technologist at O’Taste. The Food Technologist will be responsible for conducting sensory evaluations and product development, implementing laboratory skills, and assisting in research and development (R&D) efforts.

Replacement for Maternity Leave with an option for constant position

Qualifications

• Food Technology skills
• Laboratory Skills for R&D
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biotecnology or related field
• Passion for food
• Knowledge of food regulations and safety standards - an advantage
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to details
• High organizational skills

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial for the Food Technologist role include experience in food manufacturing or recipes development, knowledge of statistical analysis, and communication skills for presenting findings to team members and stakeholders.
