Security Researcher

We are Legit Security, a cybersecurity start-up offering a SaaS-based solution that secures the organization's software supply chain. The team at Legit Security is on a mission to protect companies from this rapidly growing threat so that businesses can stay secure while releasing their software fast.

We are looking for a talented, smart, and eager security researcher to join our journey.

About the role:

• Research industry-related topics to identify trends, methods, and tools, run POC’s and come up with recommended implementations that will enhance our technology, product, and business.
• Enhance our product’s capabilities and value by researching solutions to challenging technical problems. Work with Engineering and Product to make them come to life
• Research cutting-edge technologies, protocols, or solutions to gain a deep understanding of its internal workings and come up with novel attack vectors and security-related insights.
• Create professional content and present our research results & insights within the industry’s ecosystem (e.g., blog posts, OSS software, webinars, social media, conferences, and more).

About your skills & knowledge:

• At least 3 years of experience in a technical role in cybersecurity, security research background and experience and, preferably, an academic degree
• Hands-on ability to develop POC’s based on research findings using different programming frameworks while working closely with development teams.
• You have deep understanding of the cybersecurity ecosystem and modern CI/CD pipelines- An advantage
• You are a team player with great interpersonal skills and the ability to drive collaboration and innovation.
• Experience in producing professional content, for internal or external consumption and presenting it through diverse channels - An advantage
