Data Developer & Analyst

ONE ZERO seeks a Data Engineer & Analyst specializing in Financial Systems and Data. The role includes analysing system, financial, and structural data, designing specifications for automated tools, and executing their implementation. We are looking for professionals with corporate finance expertise, an entrepreneurial mindset, and innovative thinking to enhance decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform primary and backup financial and structural data analysis, responding to client inquiries on regulation, automation, and data processing
• Support the development of advanced analytical techniques, including constructing and testing statistical models for analyzing data trends, banking structure changes' effects, and enhancing structural data quality
• Aid in developing business rules and report/application formats for programmers
• Oversee new series and report changes, contribute to technical development, and prepare system software change requirements
• Make data quality and edit resolution decisions, prepare statistical reports, and provide guidance on automation and data analysis
• Provide guidance on series processing and structural data issues, including automation, editing procedures, and data analysis, ensuring unit meets all administrative and internal processing deadlines
• Assist in documentation preparation and testing per System Development Methodology (SDM) requirements. Provide technical and data content support to users of system software and data
  
  

• Advanced troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Oracle ADW, OCI (preferred)
• 3-5 years of experience in Data Cleansing, Extraction, Modeling, Management, & Transformation
• Extensive experience in large-scale data transformation implementation
• Proficient in implementing large Data Lake/Data Fabric solutions
• In-depth understanding of database management systems and scripting (SQL, NoSQL, Python), including Oracle DB, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar
• Skilled in collaborative project development using version-control systems like GitHub/GitLab, and IDEs such as IntelliJ and VSCode, with proficiency in terminal operations (GitBash, CMD, PowerShell)
• Familiarity with cloud architecture principles (scalability, reliability, availability, security)
• 3-5 years of experience with data pipeline and integration workflow management tools
• Knowledgeable about change management in implementing data & information management strategies, BI, and advanced analytics
• Awareness of market trends and technologies in data management, analytics, and visualization
• Team player with a customer support mindset
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
