Data Analyst

A profitable startup company has developed a location-based search engine that serves as a guide for businesses, services, and points of interest. Information is collected automatically on a daily basis from across the web. The results are determined by an algorithm unaffected by any bias towards a specific business and are based on a combination of distance, popularity, and user ratings. The search engine covers a wide range of categories, and with its smart filtering in each category, users can quickly and easily find focused search results within seconds.

The role is a pivotal position in the company, reporting to the Head of Business Operations. The technological stack involves SQL, Python, and Tableau.

The company is located in Tel Aviv, within walking distance from the train station, and adopts a hybrid work model with two days per week working remotely. They currently have around 90 employees.

What will you do?

• Dashboard Design and Management: Create, implement, and maintain customized dashboards and other business intelligence (BI) platforms

• Help optimize the user acquisition channels

• In-Depth Data Exploration: Dive headfirst into vast datasets to unearth hidden insights and generate actionable recommendations.

• Analyze large, complex data sets to address strategic and operational business questions.

• Collaborative Partner: Work closely with business, product and marketing teams to deliver user-friendly, informative analytical interfaces.

• Alignment with Business Strategy: Contribute to the realization of the business vision and strategy in line with the product innovation roadmap.

Requirements-

• A bachelor's degree (BA/B.Sc.) in a field emphasizing statistical and analytical skills, such as statistics, math, economics, or an equivalent field.

• 3 years of rock-solid experience as a Data Analyst

• One years of rock-solid experience in Python

• 3 years of rock-solid experience in SQL

• BI Proficiency: at least 1 years of proven experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.

• Deep understanding of A/B testing methodology
