We are seeking a dedicated and goal-oriented Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our talent acquisition efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience working with unions and a strong track record in achieving mass recruitment goals. In this role, you will play a critical part in building a skilled and diverse workforce to support our company’s mission and growth.Key Responsibilities:1. Union Relations: Collaborate with union representatives to ensure a strong and positive working relationship. Address labor-related issues and negotiate employment terms when necessary.2. Mass Recruitment: Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans to meet high-volume hiring demands, ensuring timely and efficient processes.3. Goal-Driven Approach: Set clear and measurable recruitment goals, regularly track progress, and adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed targets.4. Team Leadership: Lead a team of recruiters and HR professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team’s success in meeting recruitment objectives.5. Candidate Sourcing: Implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent, both locally and nationally, using a variety of channels, including online job boards, social media, job fairs, and employee referrals.6. Selection Process: Oversee the entire candidate selection process, including resume screening, interviews, assessments, and reference checks.7. Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives in the recruitment process to ensure a diverse and representative workforce.8. Data Analysis: Use recruitment analytics and reporting to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in the hiring process.9. Compliance: Ensure that all recruitment activities comply with labor laws and regulations, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant labor legislation.Qualifications:• Proven experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on mass recruitment.• Strong understanding of union relations and labor laws.• Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding recruitment targets.• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.• Proficiency in HR software and applicant tracking systems.• Knowledge of diversity and inclusion best practices.• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
