Foundations Team Lead

We are looking for a talented Foundations Lead. The foundations team’s motivation is to allow the mavens° tech org to grow efficiently. Let developers focus on product development and integrate their work into a stable and secure environment by providing solid standards and common services.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside CTO, VP R&D, PMs and teams to properly define Foundations roadmap. It’s important to understand that the majority of the Foundation’s team roadmap is built by mapping the most impactful requirements coming in from org wide R&D teams.
• Translate features and specs into chewable pieces, while maintaining a strict line of abstraction between features and teams.
• Design architecture and flows for features and services with team and other stakeholders.
• Sprint management and shipping deliverables in a timely manner.
• Code reviews, CI/CD and very sensitive deployments.
• Manage day-to-day tasks, mentoring, motivation and professional development for team members.
  
  

• Highly experienced with the following frameworks: Javascript, React / Typescript, Node js ֿREST APIs / GraphQL.
• OAuth2 and Web app authentication & authorization frameworks and methodologies.
• npm packaging / SDK development.
• Knowledge of ORMs and databases (both Relational and Non Relational).
• Google Cloud Stack.
• Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Firebase (Firestore / Firebase Auth / Realtime DB / emulators), Cloud SQL (Postgres).
• Experienced with JWTs, ID Tokens, Access Tokens concepts and implementations.
• Experience in developing multi-tenant web applications.
• Experience in “back-office”, and “administrative” tools to manage configurations and entities.
• Fluent (close to native) English - Reading, Writing, Speaking.
• Excellent in asynchronous work and communication.
• Comfortable with ”being on top” of multiple projects and context switching on daily / weekly basis.
• Independent & Big Thinker - you won’t be micro-managed.
• Innovative and disruptor but focused with the ability to prioritize correctly.
• Loves being a mentor for his team and lead by example.
• Sensitive to “best practices”, naming conventions and against “cutting corners” .
