Software Engineering Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced professional to join the Gifting Business Unit and take the Team Leader role to build ground-up a “commando” cross-functional team. As a technical and management focal point for Gifting Solutions' platform development, the candidate will design and build microservice-based architecture and integrate with legacy/third-party systems, reporting to Head of R&D – Gifting.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices-based architecture for the NextGen Gifting solutions platform
• Guide other team-mates, participate in code-reviews and other team activities as a Team Lead
• Hands-on development as a Backend Engineer – up to 80%
• Facilitate Scrum-based software development lifecycle management
• Work closely with Product, Management and other teams inside and outside the company

Requirements

• Solid backend software development experience in C# (.NET framework, .NET core) – at least 8 years
• Team leading/other management experience – at least 2 years
• Experience working with one of the public cloud platforms (Azure, GoogleCloud, AWS - advantage)
• Experience with SQL (MS SQL Server – an advantage) and MongoDB
• Strong architecture design skills – SOLID, REST APIs, microservices, asynchronous patterns
• Front-end technologies experience (JS, HTML, Angular) - advantage
• Self-motivated and self-learner
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills
• High level of English – a must
