Manual QA Engineer

We are a pioneer in Moving Target Defense providing top-tier cybersecurity solutions to protect critical assets from advanced threats and we are seeking for a Manual QA Engineer.

This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will play a significant role in designing and executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating closely with our development team to enhance our software.

Location and Work Mode:

• Morphisec has offices located in Beer Sheva and Tel Aviv.
• The position offers a hybrid work mode, providing flexibility and balance between in-office collaboration and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to understand software components and system requirements.
• Design, develop, and execute detailed manual test cases for individual software pieces and systems, ensuring they meet design specifications.
• Ensure the functionality of applications aligns with specified requirements.
• Efficiently identify, document, and report bugs, and assist developers in reproducing these issues.
• Proactively provide suggestions and feedback for system and software enhancements.
• Adapt testing techniques and strategies to meet diverse and evolving product requirements.
• Understand and test client-server interactions within our software products.

Requirements:

• High-level understanding of various testing forms, including GUI testing and database testing.
• Exceptional analytical skills and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to interpret technical designs and write test cases based on product requirements.
• Versatility in adapting testing techniques to different requirements.
• Solid understanding of client-server architecture and functionality.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with Windows and Linux-based testing environments is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer – 1-2 years
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles and QA methodologies.
• Certification in Quality Assurance, such as ISTQB, is desirable.
