About the opportunity:

The Compliance Team is looking for a Junior Compliance Officer with a passion for ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct within our organization. As a Junior Compliance Officer at Zota, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our business operations and promoting a culture of compliance across the company.

What you will do:

• Review new clients' onboarding packages, screening, and risk classification
• Handle company documentation packages and compliance processes
• Pro-actively monitor and carry out checks for existing and prospective merchants' compliance status
• Cross-reference checks with global databases - World-Check, Dow Jones, etc.
• Communicate directly with banks, partners, and clients via email, Skype, and Zoom
• Provide support and guidance to prospective clients regarding restricted and prohibited business models

Job Requirements:

• Fluency in spoken and written English (other languages are a plus)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• High level of organization, with close attention to detail
• Internet savvy, with a deep understanding of the online world, workflows, and shopping cart behaviors
• Willingness to learn and initiate
• Advanced efficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite products, Zoom, Slack, and Trello
• Knowledge of Salesforce CRM is an advantage
