Our Finance Operations team is looking for a Finance Operations Team Lead, who will play a vital role in driving the finance operations team towards efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with the organization's goals and objectives. This role demands a combination of strong leadership, financial expertise, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance, mentorship, and oversight to the finance operations team, ensuring efficient functioning of day-to-day activities and customer billing support.
• Oversee all activities related to accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies for optimizing finance operations, including process improvements, automation, and system enhancements.
• Manage a team of finance specialists, assigning tasks, setting goals, and monitoring performance to ensure timely and accurate completion of responsibilities.
• Work closely with other departments to address financial and accounting matters, providing support and expertise as needed.
• Lead efforts in systems integration within SF & Internal billing system, ensuring seamless connectivity and functionality across platforms.
• Oversee the preparation of periodic financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyze and present financial data to support decision-making.
• Handle complex finance-related issues for vendors and customers, managing customer billing and resolving operational and financial problems effectively.
• Coordinate with Data Analysts and Sales Operations teams, particularly during the monthly billing cycle, ensuring smooth operations and accurate financial data.
• Identify and implement process enhancements and best practices to streamline finance operations, enhance efficiency, and advocate for automation where feasible.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in leading a team, guiding and motivating members toward common goals 2-3+years
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and finance operations.
• Strong analytical capabilities to interpret financial data and make strategic decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to articulate complex financial information clearly.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to address complex finance and operations issues effectively.
• Collaborative mindset, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
• A commitment to continuous learning and development in the finance field.
• Proficiency in Excel and other relevant financial software/tools.
• Accountant or economist is advantage
