Infrastructure Lead

i) Maintain the Availability 24x7 to ensure continuity of operations

ii) Focal point to facilitate strategy discussions and provide tactical and strategic IT-related solutions.

iii) Responsible to carry out ISO27001 information man agreements and security activities and Participate in relevant Audits (ISO, SGS etc)

iv) Part of Incident Response Team – Onsite requirement in case of data center infrastructure, network, security or other related facility incidents

Network Administration:

a. Responsible for the Design topology and Architecture of the network solution

b. Maintain and monitor onsite network infrastructure, including VPNs, routers, switches,F/w

c. Troubleshoot network issues, perform patching, and coordinate with remote teams as need

d. Assist in network equipment installations, upgrades, and configurations.

Security Systems:

a. Conduct regular checks of security equipment functionality.

b. Collaborate with the security teams in a matter of security incidents

c. Collaborate with the security team to ensure adherence to security policies and procedures.

d. Implement and manage physical security measures such as access control systems, video surveillance, and alarms.

Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (DR) Site:

a. Responsible for the Design topology and Architecture of the DR solution

b. Oversee and test the functionality of business continuity and DR plans.

c. Conduct periodic tests of backup systems and recovery procedures.

d. Manage physical cabling, rack installations, and equipment inventory. (including troubleshooting)

e. Technical lead and Responsible for activation of DR according to recovery procedures

Infrastructure Management:

a. Monitor system performance and capacity and implement necessary upgrades.

b. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of infrastructure equipment (e.g., servers, storage devices).

c. Assist in the installation, configuration, and decommissioning of hardware.

Access Management:

a. Administer user access controls for onsite systems, applications, and facilities.

b. Conduct user access audits and implement necessary access modifications.

c. Collaborate with remote teams to ensure consistency in access management processes.

d. Access Monitoring - Monitoring access logs and reports to detect any unauthorized access or suspicious activity

e. Account management - Assigning appropriate access rights based on user roles and responsibilities

Interactions with Users:

a. Conduct training sessions and offer guidance on using office technology resources.

b. Collaborate with users for access control and address user-related inquiries.

c. Provide technical support and assistance to users within the office (Excluding end-user computing)

Backup Procedures:

a. Develop and implement backup procedures to protect and recover critical data.

b. Perform regular backups of onsite systems and data and ensure successful completion.

c. Verify and test backups to ensure data integrity and recoverability.

d. Restore data or systems using backups in case of data loss or system failure.

e. Maintain documentation of backup procedures, schedules, and recovery processes.

f. Coordinate offsite backup storage and transportation as per backup strategy.

Virtual Environments Expertise:

a. Possess expertise in managing and maintaining virtual environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

b. Configure and optimize virtual machines and virtual networks.

c. Monitor and troubleshoot virtualization infrastructure performance and issues.

d. Implement backup and recovery solutions for virtualized environments.

e. Maintain up-to-date HW and SW versions.

f. Monitor virtual utilization, conduct capacity planning, and implement necessary software upgrades, retention and configurations

Storage Management:

a. Manage onsite storage systems, including SAN/NAS devices, ensuring optimal performance, capacity, and data availability.

b. Monitor storage utilization, conduct capacity planning, and implement necessary storage upgrades.

c. Implement storage management best practices, including data replication, tiered storage, and disaster recovery solutions.

Application Management:

a. Collaborate with remote teams to deploy application updates, patches, and fixes.

b. Troubleshoot application-related issues and coordinate with vendors or developers for support.

c. Install, configure, and maintain onsite applications and software systems, ensuring their availability and performance.
