Head of Core Infrastructure

We are looking for a Head of Core Infrastructure to lead mission-critical infrastructure domains, drive technology strategy, and manage large-scale enterprise environments in a complex and dynamic organization.

About the Role:

• Lead and manage managers and expert teams across core infrastructure domains.
• Overall responsibility for Compute, Storage, Virtualization, Backup, IBM Power/AS400, and SAP infrastructure.
• Define and lead the technology strategy and multi-year roadmap for the domain.
• Build work plans and budgets, define objectives, success metrics, and priorities.
• Ensure availability, performance, capacity, security, and resilience across core infrastructure environments.
• Lead Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCP/DRP) programs.
• Lead strategic projects and track execution within agile sprint frameworks.
• Manage vendors, contracts, and significant technology procurement activities.
• Lead collaboration with technology teams, development groups, business stakeholders, and external partners.
• Identify and mitigate infrastructure risks while improving operational resilience.
• Provide ongoing reporting and recommendations to senior management.
• Promote standardization, automation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Drive modernization initiatives, including the adoption of AI capabilities and AI agents.
• Manage Data Center infrastructure across two hosting facilities.
• Provide professional guidance and partnership to development, application, and integration teams.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure environments.
• At least 5 years of experience managing managers and leading technology teams.
• Significant experience managing servers, storage, virtualization, and backup infrastructures.
• Experience managing or leading IBM Power / AS400 environments.
• Experience working with SAP and SAP HANA infrastructures.
• Experience managing Data Centers, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery programs.
• Experience leading complex, large-scale technology projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working with development teams and business customers.
• Strong leadership and change management capabilities with a broad business and systems perspective.
• Ability to manage in complex, highly matrixed environments.
• Strong decision-making skills under uncertainty and pressure.
• Strategic thinking combined with strong execution capabilities.
