Head of Core Infrastructure

A leading large-scale organization is seeking a Head of Core Infrastructure for a senior and impactful role, with broad responsibility for the organization's critical IT infrastructure and the leadership of professional teams and managers.

Location: Tel Aviv Employment: Full-time

What will you do?

• Lead and manage managers and expert teams across core infrastructure domains
• Oversee computing infrastructure, servers, storage, virtualization, and backup environments
• Own IBM Power / AS400 and SAP / SAP HANA infrastructure
• Develop and lead the technology strategy and multi-year roadmap
• Build work plans, budgets, objectives, and success metrics
• Ensure infrastructure availability, performance, capacity, resilience, and operational continuity
• Lead BCP/DRP and disaster recovery processes
• Manage Data Center infrastructure within complex Enterprise environments
• Lead strategic, cross-functional technology projects
• Manage vendors, technology engagements, and significant procurement activities
• Work closely with senior management, technology units, development teams, and business stakeholders
• Drive modernization, automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Promote the use of AI capabilities to improve productivity, availability, and operational efficiency

What are we looking for?

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure within Enterprise organizations
• 5+ years of experience managing managers and leading technology teams
• Significant experience managing server, storage, virtualization, and backup infrastructure
• Experience managing or leading IBM Power / AS400 environments
• Experience working with SAP and SAP HANA infrastructure
• Experience managing Data Centers, business continuity, and DRP
• Proven experience leading complex, large-scale technology projects
• Experience working with development teams, business stakeholders, and senior management
• Strong strategic and business-oriented mindset, with a broad systems perspective and strong execution capabilities
• Proven leadership and decision-making skills in complex, dynamic, and highly cross-functional environments
