About the Company

 Tervizio is a paradigm shifting startup company, turning Lidar from luxury product to commodity by leveraging the Shark Fin physics.

The company’s revolutionary product is an on-chip signal processing real-time algorithms implementing patented, disruptive time-of-flight measurement.

We are now seeking a skilled, team playing, motivated, and self-driven FPGA design engineer to join our growing team and lead the programing of the on-chip algorithms.

About the position 

As an FPGA design engineer in Tervizio you will have end-to-end responsibility to lead the firmware designs on FPGAs from system level specifications to algorithmic design, logic implementation, simulations, integration, testing, and lab qualification on the selected hardware.

Roles and responsibilities:

·        Design of FPGA of a lidar – including the system controls, and communication.

·        Collaborate closely with the development team and experts to optimize the solution architecture and designs.

·        Implement real-time DSP algorithms.

·        Develop test setups and procedures (HW and SW) to validate the designs.

·        Test and validate the FPGA-based designs.

·        Contribute to hardware design discussions and reviews.

Profile and job requirements:

·        BSc. degree in electronics.

·        Minimum 4 years practical experience in FPGA programming, preferably Altera.

·        Experience in real-time logic and DSP implementation in FPGAs.

·        Proven knowledge in the interfacing between FPGA and SoC.

·        Experience with implementation of communication modules.

·        Experienced in developing and testing of systems in a formal way (e.g. V-model)

·        Experience in hardware debug and use of the relevant lab equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, logic analyzer, protocol analyzer)

·        A self-motivated team player, attentive listener, and a creative problem solver with a strong proactive approach

·        Excellent spoken and written Hebrew and English skills.
