Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage a team of algorithm engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
· Define the algorithm roadmap and strategy for beamforming in satellite communication systems, considering evolving standards, performance goals, and the specific challenges associated with space-based operations.
· Drive the design, development, and optimization of beamforming algorithms for satellite communication, accounting for space-related factors such as signal propagation delays, atmospheric effects, and power constraints.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system engineers, RF engineers, software developers, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of algorithmic solutions in satellite communication products.
· Conduct performance evaluation, simulations, and analysis to account for the unique characteristics of satellite communication systems, such as link budget calculations, Doppler effects, and variable channel conditions.
· Lead the resolution of complex algorithmic issues, troubleshoot space-specific problems, and provide innovative solutions to enhance system performance and reliability in satellite communication applications.
· Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team, promoting innovation, continuous improvement, and the adoption of best practices in algorithm design methodologies and development processes.
Qualifications:
· Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Proven experience (at least 8 years) in algorithm development for wireless communication systems.
· Strong knowledge of beamforming techniques, antenna arrays, and signal-processing algorithms.
· Experience in leading and managing algorithm teams, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and mentoring team members.
· Proficiency in MATLAB, C/C++, or other relevant programming languages commonly used in algorithm development for wireless systems.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and translate them into efficient algorithmic solutions for space-based applications.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Proactive mindset, self-motivated, and capable of leading projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
