Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst Tech Lead to play a critical role in technically leading our data analysts team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis, exceptional technical skills, and a keen business sense to lead complex analysis projects and drive the development of advanced data products. Additionally, this role involves building robust pipelines and ETLs in a big data ecosystem, generating data insights, and visualizing business insights in our platform over enriched reports and dashboards. The individual in this role will be responsible for guiding the team, optimizing processes, and driving the development and implementation of advanced analytical methodologies to enhance decision-making and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day tasks on a team of analysts, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high standards.
• Lead and oversee super complicated data analysis projects, utilizing advanced analytical techniques and tools such as: Python, PySpark, BigQuery, BigTable, Hive, Tableau, Airflow etc.
• Responsible for promptly and effectively managing production incidents, demonstrating agility and proficiency in devising optimal solutions to ensure minimal disruption and maintain operational excellence.
• Developing fully automated report pipelines including core logic and ETLs in a big data environment.
• Work closely with R&D, other Data Analysis teams and Data Science teams to ensure the optimal solution is built in terms of logic and infrastructure
• Work closely with product and development teams to collaborate on innovative solutions for product gaps
  
  

• B.Sc in Industry & Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent experience in academic research or industry. M.Sc, MA, MBA - advantage
• 5+ years of relevant working experience as a Data Analyst, preferably at a SaaS company
• 2+ years of experience working with Python, Pandas
• Experience in pySpark, Airflow - big advantage
• Experience with Tableau - advantage
• Experience in management roles - advantage
• Experience in working with big-data environments, analytics databases, NoSQL databases, scaled databases, and scaled data pipelines.
• Quick learner, proactive/can-do attitude with high attention to details
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to a constantly changing environment
• Excellent communication skills with fluent English (written and oral);
• Strong "story-teller" who can communicate insights and recommendations effectively
• Creative and critical thinking skills
• A team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a business sense
