Job Description

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

•Managing and inspiring a team of scientists.

•Leading and providing scientific and technical guidance to team members on the design and conduct of in-planta studies (lab and greenhouse) and cell-free enzymatic studies.

•Deliver project milestones using science-based approaches.

•Managing and providing technical oversight for internal or external contractors to assure the studies meet all scientific and industrial requirements.

•Accountable for implementing innovative and creative approaches.

•Planning and reviewing study protocols and reports.

• Maintaining expertise in the current industry-standards.

Required qualifications and experience:

•PhD in Plant Science or Protein Biochemistry or related field.

•At least 5 years of demonstrated Industrial experience leading projects and teams, managing personnel and workload distribution.

•Strong scientific background.

•Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex data.

•Previous experience in a greenhouse environment is preferred.

•Ability to translate business needs and priorities into sustainable R&D initiatives.

•Strong organizational skills to enable working on multiple projects and goals under time pressure and in a fast-changing environment.

•Proven ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
