Position Summary

Minute Media is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Junior Content Editor to create storytelling experiences for millions of readers across the globe in content ranging from sports to celebrity culture (and everything in-between). This is an amazing opportunity to enter into the editorial world; our ideal candidate is someone who wants to grow in the industry.

Day-to-day will include researching and pitching ideas, editing articles, acting on data conclusions, and working with other editors in a close-knit team of internationals and across teams with shared goals

Requirements

• Native English speaker (or level), with an excellent understanding of texts and audiences.
• 1+ year of experience in a similar role - advantage
• Proactive team player with an enthusiastic, can-do attitude.
• Creative, out-of-the-box problem solver and quick thinker.
• Quick learner of systems, computers, and and enthusiastic integrator of new technologies.
• Working knowledge of other languages (especially Spanish or Portuguese) - an advantage.
  
  

• Editing long-form articles in English for grammar, spelling, structure, and storytelling.
• Understanding target audiences and tailoring content to fit.
• Researching trends and correlating content to directional changes.
• Working efficiently, juggling and prioritizing multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, dynamic company.
• Analyzing and working with data.
