We are the Israel Student Authority, a department at the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration, that encourages students around the world to make Aliyah and study higher education in Israel while providing assistance to succeed in their studies and integrate into Israeli society. The department works closely with academic institutions throughout Israel.

Role Description

The Israel Student Authority is seeking a full-time Analyst for statistical data, contracts, and payments.

The office is located in Jerusalem.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for:

• Creating, maintaining, and analyzing a range of reports on student Olim in different cross-sections, from the office's database.
• Producing financial reports for annual budget forecasting, including the use of complex formulas in Excel to calculate all relevant parameters.
• Assisting in the characterization of the supporting computer systems, including testing the implementation of new work methods and suggestions for improving the work processes.
• Maintaining regular contact with academic institutions, preparing draft contracts, and checking them before signing.
• Making orders and payments in the office's computerized systems.
• Contacting suppliers to conduct price quotations and procurement procedures in coordination with the Ministry's accounting department.
• Carrying out the work in collaboration with the various office units.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in one or more of the following fields: economics, accounting, or business administration - specialization in accounting.
• 3 years of experience for bachelor's degree holders, or 2 years of experience for master's degree holders.

Advantage for:

• High proficiency in using statistical software, processing, mining data, and presenting information visually.
• Experience and ability to create interfaces and working relationships with a variety of bodies and officials.
• Good familiarity with the higher education system in Israel.
• Knowledge of the extensive use of the Internet, Office features, and the latest computer technology.
• Excel at a high level, including work with BI systems.
• Experience working with systems, SAP, CRM, and more.
• Initiative, independence, and leading processes.
