Learning & Development Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Manager to take on a pivotal role in our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive training programs. This role requires expertise in curriculum writing, a strong understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS), and the ability to effectively conduct training sessions.

Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development:
• Design and develop training programs and materials that align with organizational goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy and relevance in training content.
• Implement best practices in instructional design to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
• Learning Management System (LMS) Management:
• Utilize expertise in Learning Management Systems to manage the organizations training platform.
• Oversee the integration of new technologies and features to enhance the learning experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the LMS.
• Training Delivery:
• Conduct training sessions for employees, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques and formats, including workshops, simulations, and e-learning modules.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
• Provide ongoing support to employees participating in training programs.
• Needs Assessment:
• Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements within the organization.
• Collaborate with department heads and HR to understand specific training needs across various teams.
• Monitoring and Reporting:
• Monitor and analyze training metrics to measure the impact of training programs.
• Prepare and present reports on training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and training delivery.
• Strong understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and experience in managing and optimizing their functionalities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work effectively with subject matter experts.
• Familiarity with industry best practices and trends in training and development.
• Technical proficiency and troubleshooting skills related to training technologies.

• Experience with e-learning authoring tools.
• Project management skills.
