Engineering Team Lead

The company is looking for a talented Engineering Team Leader to join the Engineering department and lead the development of our Automotive-focused threat intelligence product (AutoThreat®). As an Engineering Team Leader you will be responsible for managing a team of fullstack developers who will design, deliver, and contribute to the company’s SaaS product. 

This role is full-time and is Israel-based.

Responsibilities: 

Set a strategic engineering direction for the product, drive planning cycles, and help us keep our priorities in order.

Communicate technical and product decisions to the relevant team members, resolve blocking issues, and keep our development machine humming.

Work side by side with our product managers and product analysts and cybersecurity researchers.

Manage a team of high-performing engineers.

A passion for solving industry challenges.

Provide regular job performance feedback, hold one-on-ones, and provide career development support to your direct reports.

Actively participate in our recruiting process, helping us to grow our engineering team.

Hands-on development - up to 80%.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as a team leader of productive, high-performing engineering teams

7+ years of experience building web applications in both Frontend and Backend

Strong track record of delivering high-quality software while leading teams

Proven ability to lead through influence and collaboration rather than pure authority

Ability to make key decisions promptly while simultaneously weighing the needs and input of multiple stakeholders

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on action and follow-through

Interested in partnering with product, design, and various stakeholders across the team to understand how they operate and how to enhance offerings

Experience with NodeJs - Advantage

Worked with and understand ElasticSearch - Advantage

Experience with React.js - Advantage

Experience and knowledge of Cybersecurity - Advantage
