Job Title: Solution Architect II

Location: This is a remote position based in Europe, requiring flexibility to collaborate virtually with teams in the US and India. The role includes semi-regular travel to Egypt and Israel once the security situation normalizes and occasional travel within Europe and the USA.

Rate: $29/hr USD

Role Overview:

We are seeking an IT Architecture Integration Specialist to join our dynamic team. The primary focus of this role is to integrate the IT landscape of an acquired company into PepsiCo's standards. This will involve starting with infrastructure aspects such as hosting/systems migration, network integration, and cloud computing (Azure, AD, etc.), and subsequently progressing to the applications level to plan roadmaps, and streamline and standardize the systems landscape.

Key Skills and Experience:

Must-Have:

• Extensive knowledge of Corporate, Industry, and Professional Architectural Standards and project management frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, SAFE, Agile, Waterfall).
• Strong background in infrastructure including networking, data storage, virtualization, cloud computing (Azure), and end-user devices.
• 6+ years of proven experience.
• Expertise in security principles and design elements.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at various organizational levels.
• Proven ability to develop consensus and alignment across diverse functional teams.
• Skilled in storytelling, conceptual selling, executive messaging, and influencing without authority.
• Quick learner, able to adapt to corporate-specific architecture standards, frameworks, and practices.

Should-Have:

• Familiarity with multiple application development methodologies and hosting platforms (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft, SAP, Azure, AWS).
• Experience in architecting, deploying, and operating applications from various vendors.
• Strong background in enterprise platform/application architecture, deployment, and support.
• Experience in M&A IT integration projects.
• Knowledge in application integration and modern tools and technologies for data analytics and master data management.
• Coaching and mentoring abilities.
• University degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or Business Administration is preferred.

General Accountabilities:

• Serve as the primary architecture contact for assigned projects.
• Lead discovery work in infrastructure and application areas.
• Define integrated conceptual and logical architecture in collaboration with management teams.
• Ensure compliance with standards, guidelines, and governance processes.
• Provide expertise to technical and functional teams, converting architecture into functional and technical specifications.
• Stay updated on technology trends and standards.
• Maintain effective working relations with Global EA Domain owners and functional SMEs.
• Educate and guide teams in Solution Architecture.
