The Datapath team is comprised of seasoned and expert engineers, with a focus on code quality and data-driven decision-making. The team owns the most critical component of the product and holds our core intellectual property (IP).

What You’ll be Doing:

• Lead a team of 5 engineers
• Establish ownership, leadership, and vision in the most critical area of the product.
• Participate in the analysis of business requirements, and architect scalable, high-performing, testable solutions with your team, and implement and maintain a distributed, multi-tenant system on Linux.
• Recruit, train, and coach team members to reach and maintain an uncompromising level of technical ability, ingenuity, and delivery.
• Lead hands-on aspects of the development cycle, including code and design reviews.
• Tackle technical challenges - performance, fault-tolerance, and live production issues.

Must Have the Following:

• Experienced and innovative problem-solver.
• Proven experience leading big features & designs from rough ideas to requirements up to development & production
• 5 years of C++ experience in a multi-threaded performance-critical programming
• At least 2 years of direct management experience in development teams
• Advanced project management skills including time and risk management as well as resource prioritization.
