Job Description:
We are seeking a Head of Sales who is passionate about creating and leading a Sales function from scratch within a SaaS company. As our first Sales hire, you will have the autonomy to identify and capture new business opportunities, nurture relationships with existing customers and partners, and consistently exceed sales targets.
This role is both challenging and rewarding. It requires a results-driven mindset. In this pivotal position, you will significantly contribute to the company’s growth, aligning closely with the founder’s sales strategy to drive expansion.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling SaaS platforms in a B2B environment and should be skilled at managing complex, strategic sales processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct sales meetings and manage sales cycles, with a focus on the US market.
- Negotiate and finalize sales agreements, ensuring terms are beneficial for both the company and the customer.
- Collaborate with key teams to develop and refine our go-to-market strategy.
- Perform weekly pipeline reviews, offering coaching on deal closures to direct reports.
- Work closely with SDR and Marketing teams to strategically target accounts.
- Adapt the sales cycle to accommodate diverse markets, time zones, and cultural nuances.
- Provide leadership and management to both sales and marketing teams.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience scaling a SaaS company in the US market.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in both spoken and written English.
- At least 2 years of experience as an SDR, with a proven track record in marketing and sales.
- Proven ability to close deals and manage sales cycles, particularly in the US market.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools for lead management, activity tracking, and report generation.
