Data Engineer- developer

ERO group is developing a data platform that enables deep visibility for complex distributed systems, giving our clients’ systems value from the early engineering stages to full deployment and life cycle management.

Our data platform is a highly complex set of backend services, APIs and user interfaces connected on one end to our client’s system components and on the other end to a set of data bases, managing the client’s system’s data storage and delivering advanced analytics and dashboarding.

We are looking for a Backend data engineer developer joining our growing team.

Technical Knowledge requirements:

1.    At least 4 years of experience with Java development

2.    Experience with rational/non rational DB

3.    Acquaintance with time series DB

4.    ETL (extract, transform, load) development

5.    Frameworks – dockers/containers, Grafana

6.    Leading advantages: Frontend experience, Data engineering experience , observability experience (metrics, logs, traces), Kubernetes.

7.    Areas of expertise - advantage:

-    Acquaintance with cloud technologies

-    C/C++ & Python

-    Understanding of complex distributed systems

-    Data analytics

1.    We are publishing two similar positions- one in the north (near Carmiel) and one in the center (Modi’in/Tel Aviv area), both positions are hybrid

2.    Ability to work from home/office/client’s site as necessary

3.    High security clearance - advantage

4.    Fluent in Hebrew and English - speaking and writing
