Data Engineer Databricks

We are looking for an experienced Databricks Expert / Senior Data Engineer to join our team and lead complex, high-impact Data projects on the Databricks platform.

If you have strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Data Engineering, Spark and Python, and enjoy designing and building scalable Data solutions from architecture through production — we’d love to hear from you.

What will you do?

• Design, develop and implement advanced Data solutions on Databricks
• Lead end-to-end Data projects, from requirements and architecture through Production
• Develop scalable, high-performance ETL/ELT processes and Data Pipelines
• Work with Python, PySpark, Apache Spark, SQL and Delta Lake
• Integrate data from diverse enterprise systems and sources
• Optimize performance, processing efficiency and costs
• Work in Cloud environments such as Azure, AWS or GCP
• Collaborate with Data, DevOps, BI and Architecture teams
• Contribute to organizational Data architecture, standards and Best Practices

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of proven experience with Databricks projects – mandatory
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with Python
• Proven experience developing on Databricks in Production environments
• Strong experience with Apache Spark / PySpark
• Experience developing ETL/ELT processes and Data Pipelines
• Hands-on experience with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture
• Advanced SQL skills
• Experience working with Cloud platforms – Azure / AWS / GCP
• Experience working with large-scale Data systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and a system-wide perspective
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
