Tax Operation Analyst- IL

We are looking for an analyst with leadership skills, a passion for data, and a sweet spot for Tax and Duties to join our operations group. This department is highly data-driven and focused on monitoring financial data performance across regions and brands while gaining expertise with regulatory and compliance concepts in the e-commerce. In this role you will take ownership and join a team responsible to orchestrate between operations, analyze internal and external data sources to identify and reach actionable recommendations for business decisions. You will guide the team as they explore rich and unique data sets and tackle the most challenging problems in e-commerce.

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience as a Data Analyst- a must (Tax Analyst- advantage)
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and SQL with experience in querying large, complex data sets
• Analytical; Comfortable digging through data, manipulating it in excel, and drawing out impactful insights.
• Experience working in a fast-paced global environment with the ability to lead multiple projects and relationships with changing and/or competing priorities.
• Fast and independent learner
• Excellent and proactive communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Fluent English (written & spoken) and excellent communication skills.
• BA/B.Sc. in Economics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent quantitative field.
• Experience working with QlikView- Advantage
