Marketing and Product Legal Counsel - Maternity Cover

Job Description

• Work closely with our marketing teams worldwide, providing ongoing counsel on a wide range of legal issues, such as consumer protection, copyright, licensing, privacy, AI, dark patterns, spam, email marketing, and much more.
• Review and advise on various marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Work closely with some of our most innovative product teams, advising on product compliance and other product-related legal issues.
• Negotiate agreements with third-party vendors, service providers, content creators, partners, influencers, etc.
• Draft legal documents such as commercial agreements, licenses, releases, terms of use, contest rules, NDAs, etc.
• Work with external counsels (in Israel and abroad) to troubleshoot issues raised by the marketing and product teams, and implement business-enabling solutions.
• Develop a deep knowledge of Wix's business and products, and help build and implement new creative solutions for improving workflows and promoting legal awareness.
  
  

Qualifications:

• You’re a licensed lawyer with 3+ years of experience in a hi-tech company or a high-tech/commercial/IP department of a prominent law firm
• You’re fluent in English (mother-tongue or mother-tongue level)
• You have experience in drafting commercial agreements, and the ability to draft, negotiate, and finalize agreements independently
• You have knowledge and understanding of intellectual property issues
• You enjoy learning and researching new legal aspects as they appear
• You’re a diligent, hardworking team player, and an excellent multitasker
