Responsibilities

As a successful Principal Program Manager Communications, Datacenter Operations Americas, your day-to-day work will include:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive DCOPs communications plan aligned with business objectives and company values.
  • Lead strategic communication projects, including organization-wide initiatives and leadership communication.
  • Manage DCOPs' intranet, newsletters, notifications, and town hall meetings.
  • Utilize diverse communication channels to foster awareness of organizational goals and culture.
  • Craft impactful employee communications, especially regarding safety, security, and engagement.
  • Demonstrate leadership traits like initiative, self-organization, and strategic thinking.
  • Prioritize customer service, diplomacy, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Lead and develop a small to medium-sized team.
  • Implement and oversee organization-wide communication initiatives with project management skills.
  • Cultivate essential business relationships and drive change management activities.
  • Stay current on evolving technologies and adapt to the company's culture and evolution, particularly in a tech-driven environment like Microsoft.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Responsibilities

Strategic Account Technology Strategist (S-ATS)

Our customers are tackling the big challenges on meeting the new world of AI and digital services. Our customers are digitally transforming and the S-ATS role is at the leading edge of this transformation journey with our customers.

The Strategic Account Technology Strategist is at the forefront of our AI and digital transformation efforts for our PS customers. The S-ATS works exclusively to support the business of customers, map business scenarios to the technical foundation, understand and translate the customer priorities and desired outcomes, and orchestrate resources in the customer’s digital journey with deep industry knowledge and experience.

S-ATS’s technical acumen enables customers to do business in new disruptive ways. S-ATS drives the adoption of Microsoft Azure Cloud, Modern Workplace solutions, and Microsoft Dynamics 365. ATS is the owner of the TDM relationship, and acts as a virtual CTO.

With government customers changing global views on sovereignty, trust, privacy, security and regulation of cloud services, you'll help define a technical strategy to scale Microsoft's ability to make promises around adherence to these rules to gain adoption of our clouds in Public Sector

The role is technology/ pre-sale expert in a customer centric account team, and relationship builds to become a trusted advisor to key technology decision-makers, helping them build the program of digital transformation change

This Job Will Provide You:

  • A forum to leverage your technical expertise and industry acumen
  • Authorization to make major disruptions and changes to the technical architecture to enable transformative industry solutions

We are looking for you to demonstrate deep expertise in our customer’s business, knowledge of the markets in which customer operates, and Microsoft’s capability to help the customer drive their AI and digital transformation. The broad scope of responsibility of this role requires a solid understanding of both business and technology strategy, change management, and a principled approach to broad AI and digital transformation challenges and opportunities. You may also share a common set of characteristics, such as strong leadership and people skills, and bring the experience that drives innovation and customer value.

You Will Be Focused On The Following Priorities:

  • Own, manage and develop the technical business relationships with the technology influencers/decision makers of the customers
  • Lead the translation of the customer’s desired business outcomes into technical architecture
  • Influence & orchestrate the technical delivery of all technical resources involved in delivering the customers’ desired outcome

Your Specific Actions Will Include:

  • AI and Digital Transformation - Disrupting the mindset of customers and sales teams by bringing innovative ideas that showcase Microsoft’s unique value proposition
  • Technology Leadership - influencing the design of technical architectures to support customer’s business outcomes
  • Technical Sales Leadership - differentiating yourself by having a strong focus on both technology and business

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in digital transformation, core systems, infra, platform and cloud.
  • 8+ years of experience working with effective technical teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of technical sales experience in the defense industry
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related certifications.
  • Additional training or education in Technical, business, sales, or marketing
