Director of the Jusidman Science Center for Youth

Job Description:

a. Management and operation of the center and its various activities.

b. Branding, establishment of the center, expansion and marketing of the educational activities.

c. Devising and updating the Center's strategic plan in line with BGU plans.

d. Formulate a multi-annual work plan according to the resolutions of the Executive Committee.

e. Build, adhere to and manage the Center’s budget.

f. See to the hiring and management of staff and programs.

g. Market the center and expand its activities to other sectors of the population and other geographic areas, among other things.

h. Tighten and strengthen ties with external parties - Ministry of Education, local authorities, high schools, etc.

i. Activity for raising donations and budgets for the development of the center.

j. Reinforce the connection between the Center's activity and BGU’s academic activity and high-ranking officers.

Job Requirements:

a. Graduate degree in sciences or engineering or education. Preferably a Ph.D.

b. Excellent interpersonal relations and proven ability to promote and implement new initiatives and enlist partners.

c. Experience in building pedagogical programs, preferably someone with experience in working with educational systems.

d. Experience in employee management.

e. Experience in budget management.

f. Someone with a system-wide outlook, takes initiative, excellent interpersonal relations, articulate and persuasive, good at time management.

g. Experience in writing and editing documents.

h. English – excellent command.
