Senior Data Analyst - Incubation

SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our incubation team. This is a strong team of Data Scientists and Product Managers that develop prototypes for new tools and features while working with our customers.

The role involves analyzing data from various stages of a product's lifecycle, including prep work, tracking model outputs over time, assessing the impact of updates on customer output, and creating performance metrics. Our analysts work on multiple projects with other senior team members, and are expected to take initiative with minimal daily guidance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Defining performance metrics and quality criteria for multiple models operating at scale
Tracking experiments over time and identifying failure points or drifts
Developing monitoring capabilities for deployments, performance and data quality tracking as well as customer usage
Taking an active role in the design of new products’ pipelines and models
Testing out new hypotheses regarding existing features or new ones
Working with first-party data and building tools for better visibility to our customers

REQUIREMENTS:

Strong data literacy: good understanding of how reality is reflected in our data, and how a mathematical manipulation translates into an insight
Self-driven but great team player: Work independently with multiple parties, and at times, on several projects in parallel
Customer-facing mindset: learn multiple business domains, and adopt a customer’s point of view on how a model offers a solution to a real-world challenge
Excellent understanding of complex processes: be able to review the high-level architecture of a solution and its shortcomings in a would-be production system
Good communication skills: present and share knowledge to tech and non-tech staff in Hebrew and English

Technical requirements:

5+ years of working as a data analyst
3+ years of working with python and familiarity with the typical analyst tech. stack (pandas, numpy, plot.ly/seaborn, etc.)
3+ years of working over a cloud environment - GCP, AWS or Azure
B.Sc or its equivalent in a quantitative fields
Additional, preferred skills:
Familiarity with BI tools as serving layers - Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, Data Studio, Sisense, etc.
Working with geo data and it’s python stack
Familiarity with big data processing tools such as Spark
Analytics over relational databases
