As the leading supplier of advanced X-ray solutions to the top semiconductor companies, we have a global presence with offices in Israel (Migdal Ha’Emek), UK (Durham), and USA (San Jose), as well as sales and support offices worldwide.We have an immediate opening in Israel for a Senior Software Engineer in our Software department.Responsibilities:SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:As a Software Technical Lead, you willDrive the technical direction of the software team, including design decisions, technological advancements, and group best practicesCoordinate resource planning within the team, including subcontractors, set priorities, and oversee day-to-day development activitiesCollaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams (such as system, hardware, and product management)Mentor junior developers and newly hiredContribute through hands-on development to deliver high-quality software solutionsInternational Travel might be required.TEAM’S MISSION INCLUDES:Maintain existing and create new applications for our customers worldwide, ensuring reliability, performance, and alignment with customer needsBe fully aligned with other disciplines, such as project management, applications team, field support and production integratorsDeliver on time and with high qualityDemonstrate strong professionalism and a high level of technical knowledgeWork with subcontractors where necessary, providing direction, support and documentationCommunicate clearly and concisely – verbal and in writing (in English)Qualifications:A. or B.Sc degree in Computer Science or a related fieldAt least 5 years of hands-on experience writing in C# / .NetAt least 2 years of experience as a technical leadExperience in mixed C++ and managed codeExperience with industry standard tools such as: MS Visual Studio 2019/2022, Git, TFSEffective communication and interpersonal skills, good presentation skillsDistinct advantage:Semiconductors industry experienceExperience in a multi-disciplinary teamExperience with Agile developmentProtocolsSECS/GEMgRPCWCFMQTTImage processing of scientific imagesPerformance optimization
