We are seeking a senior go-to-market leader to lead our marketing department and transform our strong market share into true market leadership. We’re not looking for a traditional demand-gen extraordinaire - we need a seasoned commercial executive with deep sports industry roots who can elevate WSC from respected tech vendor to essential ecosystem partner. You'll bridge our AI-powered broadcast technology with the business realities of rights holders, federations, and media companies, turning industry relationships into strategic advantage and market presence into revenue momentum.
What you'll do:
- Transform market positioning – Evolve WSC from "well-regarded industry player" to "category-defining leader" in AI-powered broadcast and fan engagement technology.
- Drive commercial marketing strategy – Create high-impact initiatives that open doors for BD, unlock new verticals, and translate visibility into pipeline growth.
- Build industry influence – Establish WSC as an essential voice in every key conversation about media evolution, monetization, and fan engagement across the global sports ecosystem.
- Activate our market-leader status – Strategically leverage our premium client base and success stories to build instant credibility and market leadership positioning.
- Elevate how the sports and media world understands WSC — not just what we do, but why it matters.
- Integrate marketing discipline – Introduce systematic marketing approaches into our relationship-driven culture while amplifying BD efforts.
Requirements:
What you'll need:
- 10+ years in marketing, GTM, or commercial leadership roles in sports media, rights, or tech with deep credibility among federations, broadcasters, rights holders, or sports organizations—you're known and respected in the industry.
- Commercial marketing leadership – Proven track record turning industry footprint into awareness, and awareness into revenue, with experience in executive-level GTM roles focused on strategic growth and market presence.
- BD-culture integration experience – Successfully introduced marketing discipline into sales-driven or founder-led organizations while building collaboration with established Sales teams.
- Executive ambassador presence – Comfortable being the face of the company in high-profile industry settings, boardrooms, and strategic partnerships—not a back-office operator.
- Category development expertise – Experience in market education, category creation, or helping industries understand new problem spaces and solutions.
- Relationship activation skills – Ability to navigate complex and high-stakes client relationships, leveraging those success stories for marketing purposes while walking fine lines.
