We’re looking for a QA Engineer to join the Algorithm team and lead quality assurance for the Vertical Video Content engine and related video AI based systems. This role goes beyond traditional QA, you’ll own the quality strategy for one of our most business-critical technologies, working at the intersection of data science, product, and infrastructure.

What you’ll do:

• Own QA operations and quality assurance processes across the Vertical Content engine.
• Operate internal QA and monitoring tools to validate AI-generated video output.
• Analyze results and trends from model evaluation, monitoring dashboards, and validation datasets.
• Collaborate with Algorithm developers, Product Managers, and Infra to investigate issues and improve quality visibility.
• Help define and refine video-specific quality KPIs and production monitoring standards.
• Track issues in production using logs, alerts, and visual indicators—and escalate when needed.
• Support test planning and regression tracking for new releases and algorithm updates.
• Maintain clear documentation of QA flows, quality thresholds, and validation procedures.
• Work with various stakeholders. PMs, Algo Developers, Ops, ML-Ops.

What you’ll need:

• 3+ years of experience in software QA, preferably involving video, data-driven systems, or AI/ML environments.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to evaluate complex system outputs. Comfortable working with logs, dashboards, and data analytics (e.g., CSVs, metrics exports).
• Knowledge of SQL with experience in writing SQL queries.
• Understanding of software architecture, system functionality, cloud environments and APIs
• Familiarity with QA processes across development and production stages.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills; able to work with developers, analysts, and product stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset, ownership attitude and initiative. 
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Bonus Points

• Experience with video playback, editing, or quality evaluation.
• Exposure to AI/ML products or computer vision systems (no coding required).
• Familiarity with APIs and backend services (for test planning or debugging support).
• Passion for sports and media technology.
