The opportunity

Unity is seeking an experienced, data-driven individual with a strong background in data analysis and BI development to join our growing team.Our team is at the forefront of data analysis and BI solutions on mobile devices, driving content recommendations to over 400M active devices worldwide. As part of your role, you will leverage complex business analysis, and extract insights that will significantly impact our business success and drive strategic decisions. You will lead end-to-end BI projects, work on requirements, craft solutions, develop complex ETLs, and visualize actionable insights.You will collaborate directly with cross-functional teams, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to understand business needs and provide reliable and innovative data analysis and BI solutions.Transform billions of daily events into critical information, business insights, and graphical dashboards that will drive meaningful impact for our business.If you excel in analytical thinking, BI technical skills and possess a strong passion for data analysis and BI development, this role would be just perfect (!) for you.

What you'll be doing

Derive meaningful insights and actionable value from data and effectively communicate it to diverse stakeholders. Collaborate closely with Management, Product managers, Data Science, R&D, Sales and other teams
Develop complex SQL queries and work with a variety of relational and non-relational databases, including Redshift, MySQL, SingleStore, and others
Architect and implement BI ETL pipelines, reports, and dashboards to illuminate product and business performance, using various tools including Airflow, Python, Jenkins, among others
Design and deploy visually compelling data visualizations using platforms like Looker, Tableau and others
Engage in the data aspects of product and feature development and assessment, establish product reporting frameworks, and analyze outcomes of A/B testing

What we're looking for

2+ years of experience as a Data/BI Analyst
Advanced proficiency in SQL
Proficiency in collecting, organizing, and analyzing large volumes of information with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, leveraging tools like Excel and Python to effectively manage, manipulate, and derive insights from data
Proven experience in analyzing and transforming data into impactful insights using tools like Looker, Tableau, Quicksight, or equivalent
Demonstrated ability to think critically and take initiative when leading projects

You might also have

Experience working with big data in a high-scale environment
Familiarity with AB test analyses is preferred
Positive and collaborative attitude, and fun to work with!
