Frontend Expert Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Frontend Expert Engineer to join our dynamic team!

As the Frontend Expert at Aqua Security, you will be responsible for spearheading the planning and development of our web applications. You will lead the effort to build new features from scratch as well as raising the bar for the existing ones, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and user experience. As the professional authority regarding UI across all company projects, you will provide guidance and expertise to ensure consistency and excellence in UI design and implementation, along with pushing and initiating new initiatives with different teams within Aqua.

This role requires a seasoned front-end developer with strong leadership skills and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences. You will have the opportunity to lead a critical project in Aqua Security's evolution, shaping the future of our web applications and ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in frontend development, with expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
Proven experience building SPAs using React and Vue.js
Proficiency in UI infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, cloud storage buckets and private NPM registry
Experience with TypeScript
Strong leadership skills, independency and capability to push initiatives and tasks cross-teams
Experience with mentoring other frontend developers

Bonus:

Familiarity with micro frontends
Experience with testing processes, particularly using tools like Playwright and Vitest
Experience as a leadership role (e.g. tech lead, team lead, architect)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent experience
