Security Researcher

Located within our vibrant research department, this position focuses on developing cutting-edge technologies and conducting impactful security research. This role is instrumental in both advancing our product's capabilities and deepening our understanding of cybersecurity threats.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Tel Aviv office, requiring presence onsite three days a week.

What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Researcher to spearhead our research and development initiatives, specifically in the realm of product-based cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate will possess robust networking knowledge, a deep understanding of cybersecurity threats and defenses and proficiency in Python. Creativity and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies are critical.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Research and development of data collection and processing capabilities:

Research, design and develop data collection and processing methods, including integration with 3rd party solutions and development of dedicated capabilities.

2. Analysis engines and cyber-security content

- Define and implement anomaly detection, insights logic, actionable mitigation strategies, and cybersecurity events.

3. Innovation:

- Collaborate across departments including Research, Product Management, R&D, and Marketing to deliver new value to customers and enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in Python.
Knowledge and experience with networking concepts, protocols, configurations and analysis tools (e.g. Wireshark).
Comprehensive familiarity with current and common cybersecurity attacks, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
Experience and wide knowledge with both Windows and Linux systems. Including scripting languages (Powershell, Batch, Bash), Active Directory and common protocols.
Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills,
Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new challenges.
Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, efficiently handling both scheduled and unexpected responsibilities.

Advantages:

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience with industrial/OT environments.
Experience with AI tools and methodologies.
