Global Head of Technology Operations

Major accountabilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring technology initiatives support business objectives. Drive fact-based data-driven decision making, high level of ambition and accountability in leadership and management to be ensure best in class approach taken to implement initiatives and push their teams to deliver.

Technology Leadership: Provide vision and leadership in the development and implementation of IT solutions, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

Risk Management: Assess and mitigate IT risks including data security, compliance, and business continuity to safeguard the organizations information assets.

Budget Management: Oversee the IT budget, ensuring cost effective use of resources and aligning expenditures with strategic priorities. Be the owner of the quarterly budgeting process and overall FUTURE-TECH-ORG steering mechanisms, including reviewing and improving the process.

Collaboration: Foster collaboration between IT and other business units, promoting a cohesive and integrated approach to technology solutions

Innovation: Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for technological advancements that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience and competitive advantage

Project Management: Direct and manage IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and meeting specified objectives.

Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with Technology vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring data integrity, privacy and compliance with relevant regulations.

IT Governance: Establish and enforce IT Governance, frameworks, policies and procedures to ensure accountability and effective decision making. Ensure compliance to all relevant quality standards, operational and risk policies and procedures and control across the organization in alignment with the strategic objectives to guarantee legislative and policy compliance

Stakeholder Communication: Communicate IT strategies, achievements, and challenges to executive leadership and other stakeholders, ensuring a transparent and collaborative approach. Partner with leaders across FUTURE-TECH-ORG organization to drive improvements and implementations of efficient operations and cost-effective systems

Education :

· University degree or various degrees in business, finance and/or supply chain preferred

Languages:

· English excellent fluency in oral and written

Experience:

· 15 years+ of industry experience in IT, Strategy, healthcare, or pharma

· Functional experience in IT and/or corporate strategy

· Experience in leading an organization unit with 50+ employees

· Experience in leading large-scale projects managing diverse group of stakeholders

· Experience in managing senior leaders and experts, incl. attract and keep top talent

· Experience and understanding of Agile product development

· Ideally have built and/or run several successful products over the years

· Experienced working in constantly developing matrixed organization with both complex and evolving technology and products

· Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, manage issues, resolve conflicts, and mitigate risks.
