YOUR IMPACT You will own the quality of EcliptOS — QuantumBlack's AI Operating System — building and leading the automation team that safeguards every software release enterprises rely on to run AI in production. Leading a team of infrastructure and automation test engineers, you'll deliver product quality primarily through automation. You'll develop and execute test plans spanning test infrastructure, automation and manual testing, manage quality risk for each delivery, and allocate your team's resources. Across multiple releases, you'll track progress, surface blockers, propose mitigations and close testing gaps. You'll partner with R&D, Product, Architecture and DevOps to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle, from feature definition and software design to test development and release decisions. Your team's scope also covers non-functional testing: security, performance, load and stress. As part of R&D leadership, you'll base quality processes on a deep understanding of how customers use the platform. EcliptOS is QuantumBlack's next-generation AI Operating System, connecting enterprise strategy to execution through agentic systems. It spans the full AI lifecycle, including advanced MLOps, so enterprises can build, deploy and manage AI from concept to production. Based in Herzliya, you'll work with engineers, product teams and technical experts across QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey's global community, and with data scientists, machine learning engineers and designers on interdisciplinary initiatives. You'll help operationalize EcliptOS across industries, drive delivery, validation and adoption in client environments, and share knowledge by documenting patterns and refining delivery practices. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience 6+ years of hands-on programming experience with Python 3+ years of experience in team leadership or management – Validation / QA Proficiency in test infrastructure or automation development, with ability to dive into implementation / design technical aspects Experience in multi-cloud or Kubernetes-based environments Expertise in testing frameworks, methodologies and tools Experience with testing big data platforms, machine learning pipelines, or AI-driven systems Certifications in quality assurance or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Github Actions or similar Please review the additional requirements regarding essential job functions of McKinsey colleagues.
