Automation Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced Automation Team Lead to lead the automation and quality domain and serve as the technological authority within the department they will support.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on leading automation teams, driving quality initiatives, and promoting innovation and AI adoption across development processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and professionally lead automation developers and testers.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop team members, including building work plans and objectives within the automation and quality domains.
• Lead automation processes throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Work closely with Development, Architecture, DevOps, and Product Management teams.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Lead the implementation of AI solutions in the testing and automation domains.
• Monitor quality metrics, automation coverage, and testing process efficiency.
• Professionally lead Design Review and Code Review processes within the automation domain.

Mandatory Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience leading automation and testing teams, including management of automation developers and manual testers.
• At least 6 years of experience in automation development.
• Experience in recruiting, mentoring, and employee development.
• Proven ability to lead professional processes across development teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Significant experience in software development or automation development.
• Significant experience with API Automation.
• Experience working in a Microservices environment.
• Experience working with REST APIs.
• Experience working with CI/CD processes.
• Experience working with source code and configuration management tools.
• Hands-on experience working with Generative AI tools.
• Experience using AI tools for software development and automation, including the ability to identify quality improvement opportunities and implement AI-driven solutions in practice.
