Backend Developer

At ONE ZERO, Israel’s first fully digital bank, we’re building the technology that powers a new era of intuitive, transparent, people-first banking. As our platform grows and our services expand, we’re looking for a Backend Developer to help shape the systems at the heart of our product. In this role, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end development—from architecture and implementation to deployment and production—while contributing to the cloud-native infrastructure that drives our digital banking experience.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in server-side development.
Strong proficiency in Java or Kotlin (must).
Hands-on experience with AWS or another public cloud platform (must).
Experience with Spring / Spring Boot.
Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture, with hands-on experience designing and building microservices using best practices.
Passion for building high-quality products and collaborating within a team.
Experience or interest in AI-assisted coding.

Your Day-to-Day:

Develop and maintain complex, highly available, distributed, cloud-based systems while ensuring high quality and performance.
Design robust, scalable, and testable software solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Take part in the full development lifecycle, including research, design, development, testing, and production.
Contribute to the development of our core backend banking services.
