As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Spot's and Flexera's Core Platform applications using Java, Go, and related technologies. You will work closely with technology leaders and a team of experienced developers, contributing to the entire software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and support. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cloud-based development while being part of a talented and fun team.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior developers, architects, and project stakeholders to understand software requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain Spot | Flexera Core Platform applications using Java, Go, and related technologies, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of software applications to identify and resolve issues effectively.
Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.

Requirements:

2-4 years of software development experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and concepts.
Proficiency in Java, Go, or C# programming languages and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

Experience with billing systems, security and identity solutions, with a focus on authentication and authorization methodologies.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their services.
Hands-on experience with Go (Golang) development.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, Jenkins & Terraform.
